Pictures of  Almond Tress blossoming in Israel can be shared with the students and displayed on the walls of the classroom.  Since the white blossoms are the first to bud n Israel, at this time of the season, it is ralevant to the holiday learning.

Locate various songs for this and other holdays on the following site:

A classroom tree orchard can be made using the following items:

  • small toilet paper tubes
  • small strips of brown paper
  • white tissue small squares
  • glue sticks
  • non-drying clay

Have students glue brown strips onto tubes to create tree branches.
Roll white tissues squares into small buds, glue onto branches.
Secure trees on a classroom table using small amounts of clay.
